The other potential issue is that Denuvo is always running, under the hood, so it's consuming some small amount of resources. I don't know how frequently Denuvo wants to phone home, but when it does, if it can't get through, it'll generally close your game and throw you an error. This means you have to have an active internet connection when Denuvo wants to check in. That said, Denuvo is a form of anti-tamper software (it's not actually DRM, its job is to prevent anybody messing with or bypassing that actual DRM ) that requires semi-regular check-ins with specific Denuvo run servers to make sure the game you're running is the game it's supposed to be and hasn't been altered.
